(For some reason YT will not let me embed a video, even that option is available in the editor. Try to remember when you watch this video that the original that was uploaded was extremely high quality with zero pixelation. So here is a 25 second sample video I uploaded to demonstrate what I am talking about. This problem only seems to occur with 60fps videos and not 30fps videos out of the same camera. You can adjust the frame rate in either direction to get the desired effect and file size you need. A video with a lower frame rate, especially below 20 FPS, will appear choppy. The more FPS, the smoother the motion in the video. I just don't know what the problem is here or where to start fixing it. The frame rate of a video is how many frames-per-second (FPS) a video has. My problem is that when I upload these 60fps videos to Youtube they turn out worse then VGA videos taken on an Motorola V3 flip phone, if they are even that good.Įven if I upload the original unedited file straight out of the camera to youtube it ends up like crap. (size & fps matched in handbrake) and edited and rendered it in Reaper with no issues at all.

I have may main video content in 4k 60 FPS or 2.7k 60 FPS My intro video is in 25601440 and 30 FPS. I can't tell the difference between the 1080p vids and the converted HD MP4's.

If you are playing to display on a TV, I suggest getting a HD media player which is very cheap (less than $100) now. PMB included with your camera is also capable. I suggest you try media player classic (part of klite codec). If your laptop's built in display is HD capable, then what you lack may be just playing software. You can add a cheap ($30-40) display card in a desktop. P520 is dual core so it should be adequate.īut you also need a decent display card for playing HD video. The Sony HX100V takes 1080 P at 60 frames per second.
